| Step 1: |

Connect the antenna to the wireless bridge.

In this guide we will setup a wireless bridge. This wil enable you to connect any remote network device, such as an IP phone or camera, to your wireless network.The first step is connect the antenna to the adapter. This antenna will pick up the signal from your wireless router.

Reset the wireless bridge

It is now necessary to reset the wireless bridge. You can do this by inserting a pin or paperclip into the reset button located on the back of the adapter. You should press and hold the pin or paperclip for 2 or 3 seconds.

Connect one end of the included Ethernet cable to the port on the back of the wireless bridge

Next we will configure the adapter for use with your wireless router. In the following steps you'll need to connect the wireless bridge to your computer, login to its configuration page and change the appropriate settings. When this is complete, you can then connect the bridge to the Ethernet port of your network device for wireless use.

Log into the wireless bridge via a browser window
|

Now we will configure the wireless bridge. Go to your desktop and open Internet Explorer, type 192.168.1.201 into the address bar, and hit Enter. This is the IP address of the adapter and brings you to its configuration page. Log in by using "admin" for the username and "admin" for the password. This is the default username and password. You can change these later if you wish.

The Web User Interface will appear. This interface lets you configure your adapter. Select Client Mode and click Next

Type your wireless network SSID in the SSID field
|

Type your wireless network SSID in the SSID field. The SSID is the name you gave to your wireless network; our example uses the SSID my_new_network. Make sure your type the correct SSID, otherwise your network device will not find your wireless network.

Select the corresponding Data Encryption, Authentication, and Network Key, if applicable. Click Continue

Your wireless bridge is now configured. Remove the Ethernet cable from your computer and connect it to the Ethernet port on network device - you can now use this device remotely.
