Aviosys IP 9100A Network Camera with iCatcher Software

Using the IP 9100A with iCatcher software

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this guide we'll use the iCatcher software in conjunction with your IP 9100A video server. This guide assumes you have the IP 9100a video server connected to your network, with one CCTV camera attached to Port 1.

Install the iCatcher software, then run it

 

 

 

 

 

 

First, install and run the iCatcher software

Pick the location to save the feeds

 

 

 

 

 

 

You'll first be asked where you want to save feeds - you can accept the defaults, or change them if you wish.

Click Local Feeds to start the Feeds Wizard

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next, click the Local Feeds button, - the Feeds Wizard will start. here you can input the settings for your IP 9100a. Pick a name for the video server - here we've called it office. Click next.

Enter the details for your video server into the appropriate fields

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here you'll input the details of the video server. Coose Aviosys as the manufacturer, then IP9100/9100A for the model, and Quad Motion JPEG Stream for the video type. The address is the IP address of the video server - if you're unsure of this, run the IPEdit application from the CD supplied with the IP9100A. The default port is port 80. The default username is administrator, and 1234 is the password. If you have changed the default username and password for the IP9100a use these instead. Click Next, and Next again.

 

Step 6:

The feed from your CCTV camera is now visible

 

 

 

 

 

The feed from CCTV camera is now visible. If you need to make changes you can hit Previous. If the feed looks as expected, click Next. The wizard is now complete.

The feed from your CCTV camera is now visible

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your feed is now visible in the window. Your IP 9100A video server is now running successfully in conjunction with the iCatcher software.
