Connect the supplied power supply to the IP camera

In this guide we'll look at connecting an IP 9060 IP camera to your network. First, connect the power supply to your IP camera.

Connect the supplied Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the IP camera

Locate a free LAN port on your router, and connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the port

Locate a free LAN port on your router, and connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the port. The link lights on your router and IP camera will light, showing a physical connection has been established.

Insert the supplied CD into your PC's CD drive and run the IPEdit software
|

Insert the supplied CD into your PC's CD drive - it will run automatically. On this CD, you will find an application called IP EDIT which will enable you to locate the IP address of your IP camera, and alter it, if necessary. Double-click the program to open it.

The IP camera is assigned an IP address from your router automatically via DHCP

In IPEDIT, you'll see your IP camera on the left. The camera is assigned an IP address from your router automatically. This IP address is visible in the third field on the right, make a note of it.

Open Internet Explorer and type the IP camera's IP address. Hit Enter
|

Open Internet Explorer, type the IP address from the IP camera into the address bar, and hit Enter. This brings you into the IP camera's configuration page. Log in by using the default login details - admin for the username and 12345678 for the password.

The camera's feed is now visible. Your IP camera is set up and viewable on your network
