iCam View Pan & Tilt Camera

Step 1:

Connect the camera into the USB port of iCAMView

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this guide we'll connect a webcam to your network using the iCAMView web server. First, connect the camera into the USB port of iCAMView.

Connect the supplied Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of the iCAMView

 

 

 

 

 

 

Connect the supplied Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of the iCAMView.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a free LAN port on your router

Connect the power supply to the iCAMView

Check the link lights - they show a connection

 

 

 

 

 

 

A link light will light on both the iCAMView and the LAN port on your router, showing a physical connection has been established.

 

Step 7:

IP address is visible on iCAMView's display

 

 

 

 

 

 

The ICAMView obtains an IP address from your router automatically. The iCAMView's display shows this IP address - it scrolls across the display. Take a note of this IP address.

 

Step 8:

Open Internet Explorer, and log into the iCAMView

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now to viewing the camera. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the icon on your desktop. Enter the IP address of the iCAMView into IE's address bar and hit Enter. You'll be asked for the admin user name and password - these are written on the underside of the iCAMView. Enter the username and password, and click Apply.

 

Step 9:

View the camera's feed

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hit the Camera A Active X button along the left-hand side of the browser. If you're asked to install software, allow it.

View the camera's feed

 

 

 

 

 

 

Success! Your webcam is viewable on your network, via your iCAMView web server.
