| Connecting the IP 9212 to your network |

| Step 1: |
Connect the IP 9201 sensor to the In port on the IP9212 with one of the supplied 15-pin cables

Unbox the units, and connect the IP 9201 sensor to the In port on the IP9212 with the supplied 15-pin cable. In this guide we'll connect the IP 9212 network controller and sensor to your network.

Connect the IP 9202 controller to the Out port on the IP 9212 with the supplied 15-pin cable

Locate a free LAN port on your router, and connect the supplied Ethernet cable to it

Connect the other end of the supplied Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the IP9212
|

Connect the other end of the supplied Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the IP9212.

Connect the supplied power supply to the IP9212

Insert the supplied CD into your PC's CD drive and run the IPEdit software
|
|
Insert the supplied CD into your PC's CD drive - it will run automatically. On this CD you will find an application called IP EDIT which will enable you to locate the IP address of your IP9212 and alter it, if necessary. Double-click the program to open it.

The IP 9212 is assigned an IP address from your router automatically via DHCP
|

In IPEDIT, you'll see your IP9212 on the left. The IP9212 is assigned an IP address from your router automatically. This IP address is visible in the third field on the right, make a note of it.

Open Internet Explorer and type the IP9212's IP address
|
|
Open Internet Explorer, and type the IP address noted earlier into the address bar of the browser window.

| Step 11: |
Default username: admin Default password: 12345678
|
|
The default username is admin, and the default password is 12345678. Click ok - this brings you to the configuration page of the IP9212.

The configuration page is visible. Your IP9212 is now connected to your network
